Sitetric is Citric's solution for companies that want to take control of their website. It's got three core components:
- Your website is designed to your requirements by our developers.
- It's hosted on our servers, where we support and maintain it.
- You then have complete control over every aspect of the site using an online control panel and editor.
1. Design and Development
Firstly, we'll discuss what you want your site to do. It's easy to set up a website. It's much harder to get a site that actually does something for your company. This is why we look at the aims of the site. Is it to reach new customers? To push a particular product? To help exisiting clients? The answers to these questions and more will shape the design, features and structure of the site.
Next, our developers meet you to discuss how you want the site to look - we can show existing templates you may wish to use as a starting point, we can revamp an existing design or you may even have a design already done. We'll work with you to ensure the design is functional, meets your requirements, and communicates your company's branding effectively.
This design is then worked up into a "skin" which will be used on every page in your site, whilst the structure and features are configured, all ready for stage two.
2. Domain Name and Hosting
Most companies will have a domain name already, if you haven't, don't worry, we can sort that out too. Often this will have been bought on your behalf by the people who originally designed your website, or your ISP. We'll work with them to ensure you domain name is either transferred to our control (don't worry, you still own it, we just have technical control over what it points at, as the owner you can get that back at any point) or we'll get them to change the necessary settings. The point is, we'll take care of whatever's needed to make sure people can find your website on the internet.
With the domain name sorted out, your website will now be visible on the internet. We can put it in "private mode" while you finish it off (see stage 3) and then make it public when you're ready. The site is hosted on our servers, which we look after entirely - the servers, the connection, the buildings they're in, everyting to do with the site - is all owned and run by us. So if there's a problem, it's us you call.
3. Controlling the Site
This is the best part. From now on, whenever you want and from wherever you are, you'll be able to change virtually every aspect of your website. Simply log in, and then use the built-in control panel to:
- Add and edit text and images, including uploading new images.
- Create whole new pages, and change the structure of the site by re-arranging pages in the navigation.
- Re-arrange the page structure by moving "modules" (modules are individual boxes of content or functions that can sit anywhere on a page).
- Add new modules to get new functions - e.g. forums, feedback, downloads, galleries.
- Add new sections that only certain people can view, e.g. a special events page.
- Invite people to register on your site, then send them newsletters you design using the site!
- And a whole lot more!

All Prices exclude VAT. Please call for a written quotation. 30% deposit for site payable on order, balance on handover to client. Hosting/support minimum 1 year contract, subsequently pro-rata per calendar month.
