Remote Desktop Services (previously Terminal Services) allows you to access your applications and data from any device with a Windows remote desktop client*. Running on our servers and accessible over the internet using an SSL encrypted connection, you can truly work from anywhere, knowing your data never leaves our datacenter. We can install a variety of custom applications to suit your needs (such as Sage, PhotoShop, Visual Studio, Visio, Project) in addition to our standard application suite:

Office 2010 Professional Plus (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, InfoPath, Publisher, OneNote)
Office Communicator (Lync)
SharePoint Workspace
ForeFront Antivirus
Adobe Acrobat
Choice of Browser (e.g. FireFox, Chrome) in addtion to IE 8

The Remote Desktop interface is very similar to Windows 7, and depending on the connection speed available, you can even use advanced graphical effects such as Aero peak and flip.

Access Your Data Anywhere - and Keep It Secure

As part of your remote desktop service from Citric, we can provide storage for data, in a traditional file system, SQL Server or SharePoint services. Becuase all of our storage is on the same gigabit-speed network as our remote desktop services, your data is accessed instantaneously, with no need to wait for downloads or syncronisation. It's also backed-up continuously throughout the day and removed off-site using encrypted media. And because the data stays on the servers, you can access it from even the dodgiest of internet cafes and still keep secure.

Pricing and Licensing

Prices for remote desktop services are based on the numbers of users and licences taken on a per-month basis. Becuase you can add and remove both users and licences each month, it's ideal for growing/changing business needs. You only pay for the services you use, so if you only need Project for three of your ten users for a couple of months, that's all you pay for.

Data storage is charged additionally - again you only pay for what you use. We can also provide a data migration service for existing data, to ensure the data integrity is maintained and available with the correct security.
